Tim has been involved with the vintage aircraft scene for almost sixty years in various capacities but primarily as a writer, photographer and magazine editor. He joined the Gloster Strut when he moved into the area in 2019 and was invited to become a member of the Strut committee in 2022. Jeremy has over 3,000 hours flying time, virtually all on tail-wheel/skid aeroplanes, with solo time on a diverse range of aircraft from 3-axis microlights to Ryan STA to Harvard to Hurricane, plus gliders. He holds an FI(A) rating amongst others and owns a Jodel DR1050. In ‘real life’ he’s an aerospace consultant, Chartered aeronautical engineer. Tim is a long standing member of the Strut, ex-RAF, but we don't hold that against him! Until recently a Europa flier with an impressive CV of places visited.
